About ABMM:
This is a large organization of the Maheshwari community. Its branches are spread not only across India, but also in Nepal, Bangladesh, Australia, and the United States.
Its objective has been to advance the Maheshwari community as well as other communities. While striving to bring about timely change in society, it has paid special attention to how the Maheshwari community can become a progressive part of the nation.
In 1891, the foundation of the community was laid in Ajmer under the chairmanship of the late Shri Loiwal Ji, the Diwan of Kishangarh, and the Maheshwari Mahat Sabha was established. It is a matter of pride for all of us that this organization of the Maheshwari community was the first caste-based organization. To promote its objectives, a magazine called "Maheshwari" was published, copies of which were sent to all Maheshwari members across the country. The monthly publication of "Maheshwari" began in Ajmer.
Further, in 1892, the publication of "Maheshwari" began in Agra. However, this publication was discontinued and later resumed in Hapur. It was decided to hold the second session of the Maheshwari Mahat Sabha in Kishangarh and the third in Ajmer. In 1894, thanks to the efforts of the sub-assembly appointed by the Maheshwari Mahat Sabha, the first Maheshwari conference was held in Saharanpur under the chairmanship of Shrinathmal Mehta (Diwan, Jaisalmer), in which 16 resolutions were adopted.
